This will include IEMT, NLP, Coaching and Mindfulness Coaching.
Breakout rooms will be made available for private practice sessions, we will come together as a group at the start and end of the session. Each session will introduce a theme or topic which you may choose to utilise in your practice session.
Practice sessions are NOT Training sessions, they are to explore the material with like-minded individuals and get developmental feedback from your practice partner. Joanna or one of the team will facilitate the practice sessions.
The guidelines for successful online practice sessions are:
- Arrive on time so you are included in the breakout room invitations.
- Decide before the session what you want to practice and get feedback on.
- Arrive at the session with an intention to work on a specific issue, so your practitioner/coach has something to explore with you. (It may be a different modality or style to your own)
- Log the session in your CPD log as two hours. You can request a certificate of attendance if you need them.
- Be open to being the in ‘client’ role for half the time and in the Coach/Practitioner for the other half.
- Be mindful that your practice partner may be at a different level or stage of their training to you.
- Use your time wisely, you can chit chat after the sessions and connect with your practice partner to continue practice with them if you both choose to.
- We will do our best to match practice pairs and triads evenly.
- If your practice partner is more experienced than you, they are not your trainer but your practice partner. They came to the group to practice too, not instruct others.
- If your practice partner is less experienced than you, meet them where they are right now. Give constructive feedback to them after the practice session. (What they did well and ONE thing they could do differently to make a difference to their sessions.)
- Remember opinions are subjective, all practice is valuable and helps to build competence and confidence in your skills and methodology.
We hope this helps set the frame for a successful and worthwhile practice session and meet up.
The zoom room can be left open for socialising and continued practice if you request it.
