NLP Conference 2019

The NLP International Conference has been going, in various forms for over 20 years.  Throughout that time, the Conference has welcomed thousands of delegates and speakers from across the globe.

The Association for NLP (ANLP) organises the event. Our aim is to provide a platform from which those within the NLP community can collaborate, learn from each other and help shape how NLP evolves over the next 20 years.

​

The Conference is not just a place to come and listen.  It is a place where you can exchange ideas, discuss areas of collaboration and make new business and personal connections.  Many long-standing friendships have been born during the Conference and it is our intention to encourage these feelings of camaraderie and bonhomie whilst giving everyone what they want to see and hear…how NLP is making a difference.

This is all-inclusive and suited to every stage of the NLP journey. Whether you are a just-qualified Practitioner in NLP or have been a Master Trainer for 30 plus years, there is something to offer each of you as you connect to a community that is passionate about building a better world.

Can we be even more effective though?  The Conference is an opportunity to find out if there are other techniques we can use in different situations.  Some techniques you will have heard of and others may be new to you.  Some situations will be personal whilst others will be from a business perspective.  All will be valid in the context in which they are given and all can add to your existing toolkit and enhance how you interact with the world.  So we can all add value to the conference and we can all gain too!

The Conference is shaped by those involved, meaning each year provides a constantly evolving space for growth and development.

Explanation of Precautions when Participating in Breath-Body-Mind™ Programs *

Welcome to the Breath-Body-Mind™ Workshop. You will learn ancient and modern techniques to relieve stress and improve physical and mental well-being. The practices are safe for most people. Nevertheless, some people may experience physical discomfort, particularly if they have had recent injury or surgery, joint pain, back pain, muscle pain, or a very sedentary lifestyle.

BBM practices can be done gently, sitting, or lying down if necessary. Listen to your body. If you experience physical discomfort, stop, relax, and tell one of the instructors.

Sometimes during the practices, emotions emerge, such as sadness, worry, or anger. Usually, such feelings are mild to moderate, short-term, and easy to manage. However, if you experience intense or disturbing emotions during the practices, please ask one of the instructors for support and guidance. If distress persists, ask the instructors for advice before continuing.

Please consult your personal physician if you have had recent surgery, uncontrolled high blood pressure, recent heart attack, or difficulty breathing before doing these practices. Breath-Body-Mind instructors may need to modify some of the practices for individuals with certain physical or emotional issues.

Please inform the staff at the time of registration and the instructors ahead of time if you have any of the following conditions: bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, autism spectrum, panic disorder, flashbacks or dissociation, acute or severe asthma, moderate to severe chronic obstructive lung disease, recent coronavirus with residual cough or airway sensitivity. If you have post-coronavirus airway sensitivity, you may need to do the breath practices more gently and avoid forceful breathing.

Also, please notify the instructors if you are pregnant. Pregnant women can benefit from Coherent Breathing. However, they should avoid breath holding, forceful breath practices, and lying on their right side (3rd trimester).

The practices being taught in this workshop are not intended to be a substitute for medical diagnosis or treatment of any specific condition. If you suspect that you have a physical or mental condition, please consult your personal physician or primary healthcare provider.

Brown and Dr. Patricia Gerbarg, during which I will receive information and instruction about movement, breathing, and meditation practices for health.
